Marble is a created naturally from limestone and sometimes dolomite rock morphing into
calcium carbonate. Marble is used for sculpture, buildings and other applications.
Our website sells marble urns. Both cultured marble and solid marble.
Marble urns are made from marble that can be quarried from the United States, Italy,
Spain and Greece. Marble quarries vary in marble colors from pure white to pinks,
grays, reds and blues. Most marble urns that are cultured marble are usually made from
the whitest marble to give it that classic look for the sculpture type urns.
CULTURED MARBLE- Our collection of cultured marble urns are made from a
combination of marble and resin. They look and feel like solid marble, but with two
advantages. Cultured marble urns are less expensive and are more durable that solid
marble. Cultured marble is actually preferred over solid marble for statues such as seen
in cemeteries and churches. Solid marble is softer and more vulnerable to the elements
causing cracking, and washing away of the marble itself. An example of this is
headstones in old Cemeteries. If you look, you can see the names and dates worn away
with time. Some of our customers purchase marble urns made from cultured marble with
the intention of using them in a burial plot because they last a very long time
underground. Longer than solid marble urns.
Also, since the material can be molded, it is more versatile than natural stone. Our
cultured Marble urns are available in varied styles and colors.
W carry marble urns in the shape of angels, dolphins, lilies, hummingbirds.
We have Grecian style marble urns are traditional and come in different colors to adorn
any room or mantle.
Marble urns make loved keepsake urns also. Shaped like angels, animals and religious
figures.
Taking care of marble urns is quite easy if you don't do too much. Since it is a stone, it
can stain with the use of oils, or anything acidic. Keeping it simple is the best thing to do
by wiping the marble urns with a wet soft cloth, since it will probably accumulate dust and
not get truly dirty. But if it does somehow get oil or acidic residue on it, cleaning marble
urns gently with mild soap and water will be the best solution.
CULTURED MARBLE- These marble urns are made by combining beautiful, natural marble with modern polymers. They are very
durable and quite lovely.
Also, since the material can be molded, it is more versatile than natural stone. Our cultured Marble urns are available in varied styles
and colors.
