When purchases of headstone and grave markers are made well in advance of need, time
is provided for deliberate consideration of values.

Emergencies have a way of happening at inopportune times. There is all too often a
necessity for making complete arrangements for funeral and interment on a weekend or
holiday when banks and other usual places for obtaining facts on important purchases are
closed. Under these conditions, and because we don't know just what to do, we allow the
situation to be placed in the hands of others.

Unlike a pre-paid funeral, you can move your memorial with you if you relocate to a new
home. Some people tell us they don't want to buy and place a memorial in advance
because they are concerned they may move later in life. But just as a cemetery lot can be
re-sold (you'll be given a deed and you'll own the land),

Those on whom responsibility would otherwise fall will immeasurably appreciate whatever
your decision may be concerning these eventual circumstances and actions.

Is this the right time to arrange for your memorial? Only you can answer that. But now that
you understand some of the reasons for acting today, why put it off? You will gain peace of
mind, you'll make the decisions you want, and you'll be sure your memorial fits easily within
your budget.
