Angel Pet Urns
Your pet was a treasured companion and a valued member of the family. It follows that you would
want to have a final resting place that is special and pays appropriate tribute to your pet. An urn in
memory to your pet can aid in achieving closure regarding the pet’s death and can return a little of
the love and companionship given to you by your pet.
An angel pet urn is a unique memorial urn and was originally sculpted by a United States sculptor.
Each one of the urns is individually handmade with exquisite detail and available in one of four
finishes which are bronze patina, hand painted, marble and stone. An angel pet urn is truly a work of
art. The urn allows the inclusion of a photograph frame for a picture of your pet. The angel has an
outstretched arm which serves a dual purpose of offering comfort after the loss of your pet and
provides the location for the photograph frame. There are three types of frames, one of which is a
small frame that sits just under the angel’s arm and the other two of which are a large frame and a
scalloped frame that can hold a standard size picture of your pet.
Angel pet urns can also be personalized with a solid brass nameplate in choice of colors such as
gold bright brass, blue marbleized or grey marbleized. The nameplate can have an inscription of
your choice with up to three lines. The inscription can be in one of four styles.
Angel pet urns are also available in a style that has an accompanying figurine. The figurine can be a
dog, cat, rabbit, ferret, parrot or horse. The figurine is nuzzled next to the angel under its
outstretched arm. Designer resin is used to cast the urns and come in one of four finishes that
includes bronze patina, hand painted, marble and stone. As these cremation urns are over a foot in
height, they can accommodate a pet of up to 150 pounds.
A smaller version of the angel pet urn is also available and was designed by the same sculptor who
created the first edition. The smaller size does not deter from its beauty and it still has the same
striking characteristics and details found in the larger version. The smaller photographic frames are
used for this angel pet urn and each still fits under underneath the angel’s outstretched hand.
There is another edition of the angel pet urn that has no accompanying figurine or photograph
frame and the nameplate is smaller as well. These too are handmade of designer resin with the
same detail and can be finished in bronze patina, be hand painted or made of marble or stone.
The remains of your pet are placed in a plastic bag and then put into the urn by means of an access
cover on the bottom of the base. There is a hinge and clasp on the access cover to secure the
ashes. The bottom of the base has four felt pads to protect the surface where you place the urn.
